Terms and Conditions for Gaidd
Last updated:
These terms govern your use of www.gaidd.co and any engagement you enter into with Gaidd. By using the site or submitting a form, you agree to them. Where a signed statement of work exists between us, that document takes precedence over anything written here.
1. What Gaidd does
Gaidd is a growth design practice operated by Radu Popescu from Romania. We run conversion-rate optimization and growth design engagements for software products with a self-serve funnel: funnel analysis, experiment design, hi-fi design work, A/B test setup inside your existing stack, and analysis of the results.
2. Eligibility
Engagements are offered to businesses, not consumers. We work with products that are already live, have a self-serve funnel (free trial or freemium), and receive roughly 250 or more new signups per month. Below that volume experiments cannot reach statistical significance in a sensible timeframe, and we will say so rather than take the work.
3. Fees and the performance-based model
Our standard model is performance-based. No fee is charged until a validated experiment wins and the resulting lift holds. The fee is charged per +1 percentage point of absolute free-to-paid conversion gained, at the rate set by your monthly new-signup volume as published on the pricing page. Regardless of how much lift is achieved, the total invoiced in any calendar month is capped at €60,000.
An experiment counts as complete once the required sample size is reached and statistical significance is confirmed. Variants that do not win are iterated at no additional charge. All fees are exclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes, which are added where required.
4. Trial engagements and the refundable deposit
Entry engagements may require a refundable deposit, stated on the relevant offer page at the time you apply. The deposit secures scheduling and delivery capacity. It is returned in full once the agreed tests have been completed. If we fail to deliver the agreed tests, the deposit is returned in full. If you withdraw after work has begun, we may retain a portion proportionate to the work already performed.
5. Payment terms
Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless a statement of work says otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details. Late payment may result in work being paused until the account is settled.
6. Your responsibilities
Delivery depends on access. You agree to provide, in a timely manner, the analytics and experimentation access needed to run and measure tests, and a named person who can make decisions. Timelines quoted assume this access; delays in providing it move the timeline accordingly. You confirm you are entitled to grant the access you give us.
7. Ownership of work
On full payment of the fees due for an engagement, all deliverables produced specifically for you — designs, wireframes, experiment specifications, analysis and any code written for your product — become yours. Gaidd retains ownership of its own pre-existing methods, frameworks, templates and internal tooling, and may reuse the general knowledge and techniques gained. Nothing in this clause transfers rights in your product or data to us.
8. Confidentiality and publicity
Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only to perform the engagement. We may reference your company name and logo as a client, and publish anonymised or aggregate results, unless you tell us in writing not to. We will not publish figures identifying your business without your written approval.
9. No guarantee of specific results
The performance-based model means you pay for lift that is actually achieved and validated — but no particular percentage of lift, revenue outcome or ranking is promised or guaranteed. Figures shown on this site describe past engagements and are not a prediction of your results. Experimentation is by nature uncertain, and some tests will not win.
10. Website content
Content on this site, including the library resources and calculators, is provided for general information. It is not professional, legal or financial advice, and we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of it. We may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, and Gaidd's total aggregate liability arising out of an engagement is limited to the total fees paid by you under that engagement in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
Either party may end an engagement with 14 days' written notice. On termination, fees for validated lift already achieved and for work already performed remain payable, and each party returns or deletes the other's confidential information on request.
13. Data protection
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The revision date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting an active engagement will be notified by email, and the terms in force when your engagement began continue to govern it unless you agree otherwise.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and the courts of Romania have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
